Update: We are currently planning the 2022 Study Trip together with the London banks

We are currently working together with the some of the most prominent London banks to plan the 2022 Study Trip.

More details will follow in June 2022. In the meantime, stay updated via our Facebook page by pressing the button below.

What is the FinanceLab London Study Trip?

FinanceLab study trip is a yearly tradition which started in 2012 and has been ongoing since then, only skipping 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19. FinanceLab facilitates a trip to London for some of Denmark’s best students, hand-picked by the banks, to meet several of the biggest Investment Banks in the world. Get the opportunity to see the banks from the inside and get a feel for how it is to be a part of an M&A deal, trading on the world’s most vibrant trade floors or working as an analyst in asset and wealth management departments renowned around the world.

How does it work?

Throughout FinanceLab’s history we have come in contact with the financial sector in London, and we want to pass some of our knowledge and experience on to you. Our sponsors in London have repeatedly expressed interest in meeting some of our members, and we have negotiated a deal where they sponsor a trip for you to come meet them in their main offices in London. Send your CV, and our Premium Sponsors in London will select those participants, who they are most interested in. If you are selected, you will get notice from us and be invited to workshops to make sure you are ready to answer all questions they may ask.

The banks we visited in 2019 were: J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Citibank and Deutsche Bank

GOOD THINGS TO KNOW! FAQ

Everyone is welcome to apply! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

When is it?

The study trip will take place in September 2022 but the final dates are not yet decided on. Final dates and more detail about the trip will follow in June 2022.

What banks will we be visiting?

We are currently working on securing the most prominent banks as sponsors for this year’s study trip.

Is it worth it?

The previous attendees for the study trip have been very successful in landing internships, and according to the surveys we have conducted after all the previous trips, participants agree that it is worth it! The banks are also very interested in meeting our students again, which means they think it’s worth spending money to meet you!

What should my CV look like?

Your CV should be one page, without pictures, and be easily readable. The banks receive a lot of CVs, and don’t have time to spend too much time on each. Make sure that the layout is intuitive and clean, and not over the top.

Please also note your expected year of graduation (when you plan to start working full time).
